12/3  Whew! A lot going on!!!!  Closing out the year pretty strong.

9/12 If you are having trouble with your service, please put in trouble tickets.  Frustrating to ask a customer how things are going and find out they have problems but don't report them.

9/11 Had a customer move away from what I sold and install very inexpensive un-managed IP SIP trunks to run a hosted PBX with a sophisticated IVR.  I consulted with him and told him the voice might be sketchy and he made the leap anyway.  Post mortem: "The clarity issue happens sporadically, yet some of the better features overshadow the question marks. "  

Hopefully it will work out and be the right thing for him, but I'm just very cautious, perhaps overly cautious.


9/5  Signed up an HVAC company to a managed voice hosted PBX service.  This will really be a good solution for them in the event of a loss of connection at their location.  It will provide continuity of service.  Their location is in an area where the local connection could be a problem....and fiber would be prohibitively expensive.

8/8 Vendor Abuse is real.....and easy to do when you can hide behind an auto-attendant, gated parking lot or email server.

7/23 Spoke with a dental office today.  They've been through 3-4 hosted PBX providers.  None have worked out.  It's over an un-managed TWC public Internet connection.  Obviously that's not appropriate for this customer.  We have a very good solution that's reasonably priced and the voice quality will be guaranteed.

7/21 Wouldn't you know it.  The other parties did not call in.  We reset call on their dime for later.

7/18 Looking forward to trying Uber Conferencing on Monday.

7/17 I have someone who wants me to bundle their long distance so they won't have any overage charges.  However, they currently have some long distance charges that they cannot explain or provide a detail so I can analyze it to make sure we can bundle it.  Sooo.......
